Our goals are to work for:
I. Exchange and sharing of information;
II. Integrated perfomance;
III. Training;
IV. Strengthening of the Public Ministry and the mechanisms of environmental protection;
V. Increase visibility of the work of the Public Ministry in defense of the environment in Latin America.
Our actions will always be based on the principles of:
I. Solidarity;
II. Horizontality;
III. Cooperation;
IV. Respect;
V. Impersonality;
VI. Transparency​​​​​ and publicity of all acts.
The "Latin American Network of Environmental Public Ministry" (REDEMPA) was created on November 26, 2008 and its purpose is to bring together and integrate the members of the Public Ministries of the Latin American countries that defend the urban and natural environment.
REDEMPA maintains itself through the support of partners institutions that finance its articulation and institutional organization, as well as its publications and annuals "REDEMPA´S CONGRESSES", Seminars and Workshops.
